Most importantly, we have resources for everyone to help overcome this underrated, yet common, issue that impacts the way oral health is viewed. We hope with the content provided, you can go into your next dental check-up with a smile worth sharing!
The Creator
My name is Anya Bond and I am a senior biomedical science student at the University of New Hampshire. After graduation, I plan on pursing dental school and a career in dentistry! Like everyone else, I have my own experiences of going to the dentist, but what makes me different is that I have also worked in dental offices.
Through dental assisting and shadowing, I have seen first-hand how dental anxieties and phobias impact people of all types of backgrounds. I wanted to create a webpage for those who would appreciate learning more about their fears and ways to overcome them. I hope you enjoy TheDentalChairScare as much as I did creating it!
